Mission: The James Simons library media center empowers students to become avid readers, diligent critical thinkers, and effective navigators of information.

The library media center will be the heart of learning in James Simons School as an authority on inquiry, collaboration, and research.

  • Equitable access to books and resources for all library patrons.
  • Virtual and physical shared space for knowledge construction, collaboration, and inquiry-based learning.
  • A safe and inviting space that is open and accessible for use throughout the day.

Students visit the library once a week with their class.

Students are able to check out 3 books at a time.

We do not charge late fees, but students will be charged for lost books at the end of the school year. If a student has overdue books, a list of those books will be sent home in the Thursday folder at the end of every quarter.
